Asphalt shingles are are lightweight, low-maintenance, flexible, algae and impact resistant. Asphalt shingles are available in a range of grades. The better the grade, the longer the life expectancy. Solar reflective shingles are now available and a great way to keep the heat out! They are designed to reduce the absorption of the suns infrared radiation by reflecting the infrared radiation rays off the surface of the roof.

Shake:

One of the most ascetically pleasing roofs, the wood shake is naturally beautiful, durable, energy efficient and eco-friendly.  Western Red Cedar, Redwood, and Alaska Yellow-Cedar are all common wood species that are used for roofing material.  Shake is extremely durable and can withstand harsh winds and storms due to the thickness of the wood.  Wood shake roofs do require regular maintenance to prevent moss, mold, and mildew growth.  If you don't want a standard shake, we can also custom order a wood roofing system to your liking.  They can come in all shapes and sizes!

Silicone Coatings:

This roofing system is made up of silicone which provides a seamless membrane that withstands permanent ponding water without softening your roof. The product an be applied to virtually any existing roofing surface.  It is ideal for flat and low-sloped roofs.  The product is resistant to water, mold, mildew, and staining.  The product comes in a variety of colors that will keep your home cool.  This roofing system is highly reflective and provides UV protection to your home.

Modified Bitumen:
This product can be installed by torch method, asphalt or cold adhesives. This roofing system is weather resistant, easy to repair, flexible, and durable. It is applied to low-sloped roofs or flat roof sections. They are also rated against wind, fire, and hail so they are unlikely to be damaged in the event of a storm. This roofing system comes in multiple colors to match your home.

Metal Roof:

An extremely durable roof  that comes in a wide variety of colors and has a long life expectancy.  Metal roofs are rust, corrosion and fire resistant, they also keep out the mildew and insects. Compared to shingles, this roofing material is very lightweight which can lighten the load of your building structure.  Although steel is the most common type of metal roofing material, there are also other options including aluminum, copper, and zinc roofs.  Metal roofing systems are available in vertical seam, preformed panels, granular coated panels, or shaped like shingles.

Tile:

Tile roofs are durable, decorative, and have a unique shape and style. The tiles are made from concrete , clay or slate and come in many shapes (including curved, flat, interlocking, and fluted). Tile roofs are low maintenance, energy efficient, great in warm climates and do not rot.  Tiles are extremely durable but can be easily broken if there is a high impact or if a person walks on them wrong.

Additional Roofing Items:

  • Hurricane Clips- These clips work by further strengthening the bond between the roof and the walls of your house so the roof does not blow away in a hurricane. Manufacturers say that by screwing in one hundred of these clips, it is the equivalent of adding a 40-thousand-pound weight to your roof in the face of a storm.

  •

  • Solar Attic Vents-Attic ventilation is an important aspect of maintaining the structure of your home as well as saving energy. Improper attic ventilation can cause mold growth and wood rot. An attic fan placed at the roofs ridge will pull air in from outside, force it to move through the entire attic space and escape through the attic vent.

  •

  • Skylights- A great way to let natural light into your home.
